Burn Closes Bridge 2
As described here, the Burn Bridge at Wallsend is to be demolished and a replacement bridge is to be built on the same site.
The following photographs, taken between March and June 2008, show the early stages of the project, during which the bridge is readied for demolition and a temporary foot bridge constructed.
